There are many Filipinos in the United States. A great concentration can be found in Hawaii and Los Angeles, California. While most Filipinos went for Obama (who won the US Presidential elections) there are those who are do not agree with his foreign policies. I’ve been talking to some friends in the US and since the US is experiencing an economic crisis as of this writing, Obama (according to reports) aims to cut down on importation of manpower form other countries.

If the above news was true. Will Obama’s victory affect our OFW’s or American citizens in the US? Will it also affect our aspiring Nursing graduates in their bid to work in the US? Well, of course, the US is the primary target of most Filipino workers despite the fact that there are good job opportunities for Pinoys in Canada and UK. I was also thinking if the foreign relations between the US and the Philippines will change drastically in the next few years (during Obama’s term as US president). Just a random thought.
