The BBC show “Harry and Paul” shows a Filipina maid teasing a Northerner. According to the script, Harry (the boss of the Filipina maid) ordered the act - the Filipina maid to mate with his friend. This show was according to many viewers an act of racism. A racist show like “Harry and Paul” is now being asked by Philippine government officials for a public apology.
The same scenario can be seen in an episode of “Desperate Housewives” where Terri Hatcher was discriminating Filipino health care workers in the US claiming that Filipino health care workers have earned poor education and cannot measure up with US job standards. This is another classic example of racism and discrimination.
In the case of the show “Harry and Paul”, the image of the Filipina is much worse. Personally, I think it is unspeakable and Filipinos in the UK have all the right to file formal complaints against the show through the BBC website.
I am posting here the Youtube video where Harry and Paul discriminated the Filipino worker through a Filipina maid.
The complaint page of BBC network is as follows: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/ and I would like to grab this opportunity to encourage all Filipinos to file a complaint to BBC through this web address. Let us all fight racism. It’s a disease we all must cure.

Hi! Im a Filipina living in the UK and I really felt bad watching the video of 3 British men insulting a Filipina maid. As a Filipino, this is clearly an act of racism. BBC should ban the show.
