Marian Rivera’s Dyesebel Tops Primetime Shows
Marian Rivera should be happy with this news. According to reports from GMA, primetime television has a new queen. Her name is Dyesebel.
Dyesebel, the new fantaserye of GMA-7, continues to lead all primetime programs after debuting at No. 1 with 44.9 percent last Monday. The Marian Rivera-Dingdong Dantes starrer maintained its high ratings although it has yet to surpass its premiere showing.
Dyesebel posted a rating of 43.4 percent on its second night (April 29), then dropped to 39. 5 percent Wednesday (April 30), and climbed again to 40.2 percent last night (May 1).
GMA-7’s three other primetime shows—Joaquin Bordado, Babangon Ako’t Dududrugin Kita, and the primetime newscast 24 Oras—maintained their second to fourth positions from Tuesday to Thursday.
ABS-CBN’s karaoke show The Singing Bee hosted by Cesar Montano took the No. 5 spot Tuesday and Thursday while GMA-7’s Koreanovela, The Legend, grabbed that position Wednesday.
Other Kapamilya shows—Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus, TV Patrol World, Lobo, and Maligno—completed the Top 10.
In the daytime race, Daisy Siete and Eat Bulaga! were engaged in a tug-of-war battle. The afternoon soap of the SexBomb Girls took the first place Tuesday and Thursday while the noontime show of Tito, Vic & Joey was No. 1 Wednesday.
The back-to-back soaps of the Kapuso network, Maging Akin Ka Lamang and Kaputol ng Isang Awit, also had strong showing along with ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas, Game KNB? and Wowowee.
