The Philippines, being dubbed as “the Texting Capital of the World”, is also a great market for cell phones and other high-tech gadgets like laptops/notebooks and MP3 players. In my opinion, Filipinos are truly fascinated by cellular phones and other high-tech gadgets because of curiosity. We can’t say that every Filipino can afford to buy a Blackberry 8320 phone or a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic cell phones but Filipino culture saw that everything new and shiny is attractive to many Pinoys.
Even in my case, I was addicted to cell phones and texting once upon a time. I had 5 Nokia phones and 2 Samsung phones. I am also eyeing on buying an LG Shine cell phone but not this time, in the near future maybe. It’s difficult to maintain many phone units, for one.
I have also blogged in my Tech Site about Blackberry phones and I intend to add more cell phone models in that site for the information of the general public.
Some of the items in my list include HTC Diamond Touch for Sprint – a less popular brand in the Philippines. Also, updates on cell phone hacks are in my outline.
On the other hand, if you are interested in purchasing cell phones online, check out the site linked here: Verizon cell phones. The site offers great cellular phone deals and you might want to place your orders if you have already decided on what gadget to buy.

Correct! The Philippines is even known in many countries as the TEXT CAPITAL OF THE WORLD because of the fascination of Filipinos with cell phones. This makes the country an attractive market for these items. And guess what? Nokia has already made a lot of money out of this cell phone addiction exhibited by Filipinos.

Fren,
Konti nga eh. Hahaha! Hindi ko nagagamit lahat fren. Pinamigay ko na nga yung ibang cell phones sa mga kapatid at pamangkin ko. Kainis minsan dahil nagsusulat ako tapos beep beep nang beep beep. Hahaha!
