The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Philippine authority on weather forecasting, announced that summer will be hotter this year in the Philippines.
An astounding 37 degrees celsius or higher is expected this summer in the Philippines as global warming escalates.
A trip advisory to all foreginers who intend to come to the Philippines this summer: check your blood pressure. The Philippine summer heat can cause heat stroke and reports in the previous that foreigners who are on vacation in the country have suffered varying degrees of heat stroke especially in Metro Manila where the summer heat is expected to be hottest.
If you want to come to the Philippines this summer, make sure you include in your itinerary province trips since weather in the provinces especially towns near beaches are slightly cooler than in the city where the air becomes dry during this season.
I hope this simple trip advisory helps. And oh, please check your hotels, through your hotel bookers or travel agents, if they have strong air conditioners.
