Undefeated Juan Manuel Lopez of Puerto Rico knocked out Daniel Ponce De Leon on the first round for another impressive victory over the Mexican fighter. The match-up was great because the two fighters are hard hitters but Juan Manuel Lopez simply outclassed and outboxed Ponce De Leon tonight showing the world that he deserves to be number one in his weight class.

I’ve just seen the Pavlik-Lockett fight on cable and the way I see it, the match was a mismatch. WBO/WBC middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik’s (33-0, 29 KOs) and challenger Gary Lockett (30-1, 21 KOs) squared off for three rounds and the challenger took the knee (knockdowned) twice in the first round before he got knocked out in the 3rd round.
