The lone winner of the Megalotto jackpot prize of more than 140.7 million Philippine Pesos (PhP) is still unidentified by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) up to this time for his/her own protection. The winning combination was 45-08-24-26-15-38.

Well, of course, it’s not really easy to tell the whole world you won that big. As a Lotto bettor myself, this is a dream come true for the winner. He/she was perhaps excited to win one of the biggest prizes in the history of Philippine Lottery.

Personally, if I were him, I would wait for the most opportune time to claim the prize (say, after a month). This will only be a waiting period because the news is still hot and many people might get interested in his winnings if he claims the prize now. He doesn’t have to worry because there is a three-month(?) claim period given to winners. If he claims his Megalotto prize after 30 days, that will still be a valid claim.
