Baron Geisler did not show up during the preliminary investigation of his case (acts of lasciviousness) at the Department of Justice Office in Manila. The case was filed by Patrizha Martinez, daughter of actor William Martinez and Yayo Aguila.
In a report by MARK MERUEÑAS, GMANews.TV stated that the embattled actor Baron Geisler on Friday skipped the preliminary investigation in connection with the acts of lasciviousness charge he is facing for allegedly fondling a celebrity couple’s 21-year-old daughter.
QTV’s noontime news program Balitanghali said Geisler (Baron Frederick von Geisler in real life), through a representative, instead asked prosecutor Amanda Felipe of the Justice Department if he could be given more time to prepare and submit a counter affidavit.
According to his representative, Geisler was unable to turn up for the investigation because he was on a shoot. The actor, however, promised to attend the next hearing that the prosecutor would set.
Felipe gave in to the request of Geisler’s camp and reset the schedule of the investigation to June 13 at 10 a.m.
In her complaint-affidavit, Patrizha Maree Martinez, daughter of William Martinez and Yayo Aguila, accused Geisler of pinching her cheeks and grabbing her breasts against her will while partying with friends at the Fiamma Bar in Makati City.
She also claimed said that Geisler had asked her to have sex with him. Patrizhas’ refusal was allegedly reciprocated by invectives coming from a then incensed Geisler.
The Martinez’s are seeking P5 million in damage suit against the young actor.
In Friday’s postponed preliminary investigation at the Department of Justice, Patrizha was accompanied by his father William, who reiterated that they would pursue the case no matter what happens.
“I am not doing this because I wanted to make a scene or something. It’s something that has to be done because it’s the right thing to do,” Patrizha told reporters.
William, for his part, maintained they would not allow any settlement to be reached between the two parties, saying they are determined to teach Geisler a lesson.
Geisler had been previously embroiled in several bar scuffles.
Television cameras were even able to capture a then drunk actor in action while trying to make advances on an actress in a reality-based program.

Whatever happened to this case? Is it pushing through? Who do you think is guilty or telling the truth?

I’m not sure of the answer. I did not preside as the judge to the case.
