Kelly Pavlik vs. Gary Lockett Result: Pavlik Won by KO

I’ve just seen the Pavlik-Lockett fight on cable and the way I see it, the match was a mismatch. WBO/WBC middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik’s (33-0, 29 KOs) and challenger Gary Lockett (30-1, 21 KOs) squared off for three rounds and the challenger took the knee (knocked down) twice in the first round before he got knocked out in the 3rd round.

Pavlik retains his two belts and remained calm and humble after the fight as he usually does. This guy is pure class. he is actually one of the best fighters today in my opinion. I think he’s eyeing on a fight with Joe Clazaghe, the one who defeated Bernard Hopkins a few months ago.
