Charlie Green was eliminated from the Britain’s Got Talent 2008 competition. Charlie Green’s updated status in the BGT competition is being monitored by many Filipinos and I’m sure his elimination will make a lot of Pinoys and Pinays worldwide sad and disappointed.
According to Inquirer.net, Filipino-British child performer Charlie Green was booted out of the “Britain’s Got Talent” semifinals Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Manila time), the Inquirer learned.
Green failed to make the final Top 10 of the talent reality show, in which another Filipino, Madonna Decena, is still in contention. Decena will appear on the other semifinal competition this Friday.
The show’s creator and judge, Simon Cowell, thought Green made a “bad song choice” but endorsed him to advance to the next round. The two other judges, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, however, thought otherwise and ended Green’s aspirations.
Green sang “All I Wanna Do is Sing,” an original song that was composed specifically for the performance.
The show’s finals will air in the UK on Saturday.
