Manny Pacquiao has just won over Ricky Hatton. After the May 2nd 2009 Pacquiao vs. Hatton match, what comes next for Manny Pacquiao??? The very first to defeat Ricky Hatton was Floyd Mayweather, Jr. so he will be a good choice as Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has a fight this coming July 18, 2009 against Juan Manuel Marquez. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. came back from retirement and stated that he is still the world’s pound-for-pound king. Mayweather was challenged by Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao’s former rival. Whoever wins in the Mayweather vs. Marquez match could be Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent. But personally, we would love to see Pacman take on take Floyd Mayweather, Jr. next after Ricky Hatton.
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is also called “Pretty Boy” because he’s never been defeated nor injured badly in a fight. The Pacquiao-Mayweather match will be something we should all be looking forward to. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was the former pound-for-pound king while Manny Pacquiao is the present boxer who holds that title. The younger Floyd claims he’s back. Well, the only way to prove that is to fight Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao both won over Oscar Dela Hoya. One of them won convincingly while the other was controversial. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. won via a controversial decision. While Manny Pacquiao won through round 8 TKO when Dela Hoya resigned as he was already beaten hard.
The Pacquiao-Mayweather fight has been sought even before Pacquiao vs. Hatton match was announced. Well, what are your thoughts? Will Pacquiao-Mayweather boxing match be the next Manny Pacquiao fight? Some say it could also be Miguel Cotto but let’s see what will happen later this year.
