Just this morning, I found out that the price calculation for Entrecard advertisements in other sites have changed. The new pricing is calculated using a base 2, using the concept of exponentiation. Prior to this, the calculation of advertisement was “average cards dropped on your site times 2″.
The new prices of our ads now have become

In general, the new formula is 2 raised to the number of adverts waiting on spot, or 2 raised to n where n equals the number of ads waiting on spot.
Now, for those who do not know yet this computation, don’t fret out if the prices of ads on your sites have dropped since this formula will yield fixed values unlike the old formula where the main determinant is the number of cards dropped on you.
If you want to have higher-priced ads on your site, then let the number of ads queued in your sites increase a little. ![]()
