Are you done watching the individual performances of American Idol Season 8 final 4? If not, check them out on their American Idol May 5 rock and roll solo performances listed at the related articles below. Now, we’re on to the duet performances. First off was Danny Gokey and Kris Allen’s tandem. Danny and Kris performed Renegade by Styx.

I must approve with what the judges said, Kris and Danny’s duet of Renegade were in perfect harmony. Kris and Danny’s voices complimented each other but their solo parts were not as good. Some parts of the Renegade duet are off key. The first part of Kris and Danny’s Renegade duet was boring. They only sounded good when they were in different voices. But at the end, I thought Danny Gokey must have screamed on purpose to get attention and he succeeded. Simon Cowell said Danny was better than Kris. I beg to disagree! They both had their dull moments during the Renegade duet. That was so unfair for Kris Allen. The Renegade duet was supposed to be teamwork but Danny Gokey couldn’t seem to take the competition out of his system. Anyway, it’s all up to America now.

Here is a free online video of Kris Allen and Danny Gokey’s duet of Renegade (Styx) on American Idol Season 8 Rock and Roll performance night (May 5, 2009). Feel free to watch this video online ’cause it was provided from YouTube. Now, watch Kris Allen and Danny Gokey singing Renegade by Styx.
