KC and The Sunshine Band Sings Get Down Tonight on Idol | Free Online Video

American Idol Season 8 Disco week invited 1970’s disco living legends. American Idol April 22, 2009 results night showcased Casey/KC (KC and The Sunshine Band) singing Get Down Tonight a 1975 which a popular fast tempo music in the disco genre. KC and the Sunshine Band has also been popular as a funky musical group with disco, R&B and Pop music. Below is a video of KC and The Sunshine Band performing Get Down tonight.

KC and The Sunshine Band started in 1973 and was active until 1984. In 1993, KC and The Sunshine Band reunited and came back performing again up to present. In fact, Casey or KC (of KC and The Sunshine Band) was invited guest on American Idol Disco Week results show. KC performed Get Down Tonight which was KC and The Sunshine Band very first hit out of five number one hits. Among their popular line of disco songs were:
