American Idol March 17, 2009 was the Grand Ole Opry night or Country Music night. The night’s show was all about country song hits. American Idol Season 4 winner – Carrie Underwood was a recent member of the Grand Ole Opry after being invited to join the country music show last March 15, 2008. So, tomorrow’s American Idol 2009 theme will still be of the Grand Ole Opry and will have Carrie Underwood to perform again on American Idol stage not as a contestant but as a successful country singer.
American Idol March 17, 2009 performance night was flooded of country music from the members of the Grand Ole Opry show. They even invited Randy Travis, a living legend of country songs, to be the coach of American Idol 2009 Top 11 for the week. Some made it off with fun country music while others preferred the ballads. The American Idol March 17, 2009 show was like a rocky road for some. Anoop Desai’s American Idol March 17, 2009 performance brought him back on the right track. Kris Allen also did great vocals and was more noticed without his guitar. Megan Joy Corkrey’s American Idol March 17, 2009 song choice definitely fitted her style and did well despite her illness. Lil Rounds did not come out that strong this week. While Adam Lambert was off the track and not even close to country side.
Here is American Idol March 17, 2009 song choice list of American Idol 2009 Top 11 for the Grand Ole Opry night a.k.a. Country night.

[...] American Idol Season 8 Top 11 performances (March 18, 2009) is all about country music as a tribute to Grand Ole Opry. In this week, Alexis Grace sung Jolene by Dolly Parton. Alexis Grace’s American Idol country night performance was not impressive at all. I find Brooke White’s Jolene performance better than hers. It was good but was a little safe for Alexis Grace (American Idol 2009). Now, Alexis Grace is out of American Idol Season 8. .gallery { margin: auto; } .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } .gallery img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } [...]
