American Idol Double Elimination week is done and Season 8 sent two idol contestants home. American Idol 2009 eliminated two idol contestants who earned the lowest number of votes after the American Idol April 21, 2009 disco night performances. Who got voted off American Idol April 22, 2009 disco week? Who went home sweet home on Season 8’s American Idol double elimination results show???
American Idol double elimination in April 22, 2009 started up with a very hot group performance by American Idol Season 8 Top 7. American Idol April 22, 2009 opening number of final 7 was aided by the great dance moves of Paula Abdul. In Disco week, top 7 did a lip sync of the Michael Jackson’s Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground). But the singing wasn’t the thing that made it sizzling hot!!! Top 7’s Shake Your Body performance on American Idol double elimination show was accompanied by dance moves courtesy of Paula Abdul’s choreography. You should have seen Paula Abdul’s huge bouquet of flowers on American Idol double elimination night. Paula totally deserved that for doing such a great job.
I can’t help but want to compliment Lil Rounds for looking so sexy and spicy on that 70’s costume. Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud got nice moves there. The others on that American Idol double elimination show group performance were a bit awkward and clumsy but it didn’t matter ’cause overall it was fantastic.
Now, on American Idol double elimination of April 22, 2009 results night. American Idol 2009 April 22 results show first called in Lil Rounds. Ryan Seacrest said she’s in the bottom three. Then immediately declared Lil Rounds as out in American Idol double elimination. Lil Rounds performed Chaka Khan’s I’m Every Woman and gave it all.
Then American Idol double elimination show presented its invited guess performers. It’s American Idol disco week in Season 8. Hence, Idol invited three disco legends who were volcanic in the 1970’s and they performed in medley. First who came out was 66-year-old Freda Payne singing Band of Gold. Freda Payne’s Idol performance was quite a rocky road but come on folks. I have to praise her looking good in her 60’s. Next was Thelma Houston with her 70’s hit, Don’t Leave Me This Way. Third was Harry Wayne Casey or KC (KC and The Sunshine Band) who sung Get Down Tonight.

Back on American Idol double elimination results. Kris Allen shopped from the girl’s department and fitted so he’s safe. Adam Lambert obviously with the audience’s cheers is safe. Next was Danny Gokey, most of the judges were positive except Simon. Danny’s moving to the next round. Now on Anoop Desai, he’s was called in the bottom three. Only Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud was left. Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud both wasn’t as great in American Idol disco night performances. Matt was safe and Allison joined Anoop.
Another performance from an Idol alum interrupted the American Idol double elimination results. American Idol Season 7 second placer in 2008, David Archuleta, returns on Idol ground to sing his song Touch My Hand.
Finally on American Idol double elimination show, Allison Iraheta was pulled off the crook. Anoop Desai is out and performed again Donna Summer’s Dim All The Lights. American Idol Double Elimination sent Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai home.
